Which places are non -smoking?

Parents smoke in their apartments, on balconies, without thinking about the fact that they are shortening not only their lives, but also the lives of their children.

The main idea of the law is to use it to protect the health of the citizens of the country and to protect against the negative consequences of inhaling cigarette smoke. According to statistical studies, a very high death rate is due to this addiction. However, not only smokers suffer as a result of smoking, but also the people around them.

Smoking bans in different countries

In most countries, stricter measures to combat smoking have been in place for some time. In the first stage, each country implements smoking ban measures in crowded places. In almost every country, significant fines are imposed on violators for not complying with these laws.

In America, when smoking a cigarette in the wrong place, offenders have to pay impressive fines. In the UK, this number is higher. In Greece, they are also actively fighting this addiction, because smoking in the wrong place there fines are imposed. In Japan, the fight against smoking is on a large scale, there is even a list of certain streets where smoking is banned altogether.

law enforcement and smoking in public places

The list of places in all countries where smoking is banned is almost the same. However, upon arrival in a foreign country, it is better to familiarize yourself with its laws separately. Smoking areas are usually marked everywhere with certain signs. Some countries are also taking steps to limit the sale of cigarettes. The least smoking country is the Vatican. Since 2002, smoking has been completely banned there.

Most countries have focused their efforts not only on identifying non -smoking areas, but also on promoting healthy lifestyles. Defining a restricted area is embarrassing for many smokers as they now have to hide and go to places that can smoke. One starts to feel a little marginalized and, over time, is less and less looking for a place where you can smoke. With a conducive environment, all this leads to the fact that a person quits smoking.

Since the adoption of the law, statistical indicators have increased significantly. Not only did the level of sales of tobacco products decrease, but positive changes in the birth rate began to be observed, the number of pathologies in newborns decreased. For the better, death statistics from lung and throat cancer have changed. These bad habits are weapons of mass destruction that claim more lives every year than the wars that take place on the planet.

The government is now not only trying to restrict smoking areas, making cigarettes a luxury item (gradually increasing its cost), but is also actively fighting cigarette propaganda in the media. Not so often do you see people smoking on TV screens and in movies.
